luvtide vol. 1 is the first release in a series of curated sketches and experimental recordings by producer and composer Noah Riseley. Recorded between June 2016 and May 2017, seven concise, nostalgic vignettes bloom into one another on the first release of this chronology. Written in Noah's late teenage years, these tracks are comprised of lilting washes of guitar, annunciated by wandering melodies that flow together with an absent minded poignancy.

The nature of the music is spontaneous, with most of the tracks being recorded within the space of a few hours. Over time, as recordings find one another on these volumes, a sense of direction precipitates, leading the listener further a world in slow motion.
